has been possibly some of the best time i’ve spent with my family. ever. christmas movies and singing seal songs with the siblings, eating eating eating yet somehow losing weight, bluegrass music and old eagles records, kitty snuggle time, dog snuggle time, mom+dad+amy dinners, baking up a storm, lazy time at the house, not getting entirely sick of crazy relatives, and enjoying hugging new baby cousin and new big sister-in-law (i spent the first part of my life wanting a sister so badly, the last ten years thanking God that i had no sister, and now i’ve found that having a sister-in-law is juuuusstt right).
sure, i had a sinus infection for the first week of break and a randomly occurring fever for the last week, and have hardly seen my friends, but somehow, i’ve had a happier christmas than i’ve had in a long time.
